Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Bunde: Page 1, line 12, following "agents;": Delete "and (2)" Insert "(2) practices optometry in a location where the services of an ophthalmologist are not regularly available; and (3)" Page 2, line 2, following "attaches." Insert "The endorsement also expires when the licensee who holds the endorsement changes the location of the licensee's practice to a new community; an endorsement that expires solely because of this provision may, without payment of a new fee, be renewed by the board for the remainder of the term for which the endorsement was originally issued upon application to the board and a finding by the board that the services of an ophthalmologist are not regularly available in the new community." Representative Bunde moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Murkowski objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?"
